About us

The Daily Globe brings together the day's most important headlines from reputable, openly licensed news sources around the world, so you can see what is happening in world affairs, the UK, the US, politics, business, technology, science, health and culture in one place.

How it works

We follow the public RSS news feeds that publishers make available for exactly this purpose. Our pages are refreshed every few minutes. For each story we show the headline, the publisher's name, when it was published, the image the publisher includes in its feed and a short summary. We never republish full articles: every story links straight to the original publisher, where you can read it in full.

Our sources

Sources include UN News, Global Voices, The Conversation and NASA. Content and trademarks belong to their respective owners, and inclusion does not imply endorsement.

We use only sources whose licences allow commercial reuse with credit, and we follow each licence:

Our own reporting: Daily Briefings

Alongside the headline feed we publish original Daily Briefings and explainers, written by us in our own words. They are based on publicly reported facts from named news organisations, and every piece lists and links its sources. We do not copy articles, and if a source later changes or corrects its reporting we will update ours. See our terms for the editorial disclaimer.

Who runs this site

The Daily Globe is an independent website owned and operated in the United Kingdom by Omar Abdirahman Mohamed, trading as The Daily Globe. It is not affiliated with any of the publishers we link to. The site is supported by advertising.
